Male or Female tattoo artist?
I'm getting my first tattoo soon, my family is paying for it as my 21st birthday present. I want it done well, as anyone does, but I'm wondering are female tattoo artists better than male? Or the other way round? Personal experience would be helpful..
Also, would a tattoo artist be offended if I wanted to see some of their previous work? I just want to make sure they're good at detail. And I was also thinking that a female might do it better because the original artist for my tattoo was Victoria Frances. Any advice would be really appreciated. I'm not rushing into it, I've been waiting to get a tattoo years and I'm positive about what I want.
