A single feather as a tattoo design may represent or symbolize the ability to take flight, either spiritually, emotionally or creatively.
The week I got accepted into my dream fashion school I got this, hence the creativity part. Unfortunately, My grandmother got diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia the same week and passed a couple months later. So this represents her taking flight from the wonderful life she had. She was an amazing woman.

My 2nd Tattoo, On the top of my left shoulder. It reads “Per Aspera Ad Astra”.
Which means “through hardships to the stars”.
